About
Hailing from Idaho, Julen loves the outdoors and mountainous landscapes of his youth. He takes a weekend trip up the Metro North trailhead stops whenever time allows.
A graduate of Pace University’s BFA Acting program, Julen has studied acting for stage and film, Shakespeare, improv, and stage combat. He most recently closed Pumpernickel (David), a new work by playwright Keelay Gipson at Pace. Other performance credits include Macbeth (Macbeth), Antigonick (Teiresias), Urinetown (Mr. McQueen), For Those Who Need It (Anthony), Cats (McCavity, Admetus). In addition to acting, Julen danced professionally with Idaho Dance Theatre as apprentice to Marla Hansen. His love for dance continues as one of the central facets of his artistry. When not in performance, Julen enjoys distance running, reading, and expanding his knowledge of the space-western genre.
